This time, the title won't suit the theme "with a number" if it it's not written in Japanese.
DAY 13: A SONG WITH A NUMBER IN THE TITLE
I found this song was fun and very warm, very comforting. I loved it since the first listen in the dorama. It was rent free in my head in the period I watched it. I mean, it's rare that I listened to a dorama OST in the first place. So, it definitely caught my interest quite so much that I listened to it properly. And when I found it actually has an MV officially uploaded in YouTube, I was so happy, I cried LOL
I'm not exaggerating. I cried because of the dorama too, so I think it was a "bring back memory" moment. The feeling I thought I had quite the same condition with Kotaro for wanting to grow strong alone so that'd give self worth to live with the someone supposed to be dear. Well, but I didn't have violence in my story, so his trauma much worse I guess. I was glad he was such a positive kid.
Anyway, the dorama was Kotaro Hitorigurashi (Kotaro Lives Alone) and the OST was Hitori Ni Shinaiyo (probably have a meaning of "I won't leave you alone"). If I were barely know Japanese, I wouldn't pick this LOL I wouldn't know it written 一人 (one, person; hitori; alone) in kanji.
It's exciting that I could make a use of what I learned, even just for myself~
First time watching the MV, I loved the way they made it so colorful in pastel and roughly animated, or it named stop-motion I guess?. Very cute! It was very emotional when Eito-san started have interactions with the visualized kid. Might be just me being dramatic, but the fact that they're now real fathers for Kanju, I--*sobs* kids are growing well. As a fan of Kanju, I'm glad they're the fathers.
And I had special feeling when Yasu signed tears at (1:56). Kinda deep to me. Idk why.
Btw Gaku, Oka-chan, Taro, and Ura ever covered this song in acapella. I believe they have potential. They just need more practice for singing, and I know they can do it better!
If I chose to be English, I would've picked 2 Faced~ I don't know what's suitable translation to it in Japanese though.
